How frustrating it must be to lose the Super Bowl the way the Seahawks did? To know that you completely outplayed the opposition, even with your mistakes, and still aren't the champion simply because the referees had it in for your team. The number of phantom calls made against the Seahawks was unbelievable. The referees looked to simply have decided that there was no way they were going to let the Super Bowl be decided without their input. It's sickening to think that right now in Pittsburgh, they are 'fans' walking around with pride about the Stealers' Lombardi trophy. Hopefully, if they are truly fans, in the back of their minds, they acknowledge the fact that if the media, refs, and the NFL hadn't fallen in love with the storylines of the Stealers, there's a better than good chance this game would have turned out otherwise. My hat goes off to the Seahawks for playing the better game against the world....and the refs.
